After 36 years dedicated to the culinary confectionery production, GINA POPA is today highly entitled to share with us her personal culinary conviction: “The only limitation is the imagination“.
After working in different high-end confectioneries of well-known restaurants, Gina garnered the most beautiful and representative experience during her time at the 3 Michelin stars Hotel & Restaurant “Traube – Tonbach”, Baiersbronn, Germany. Here, her time spent alongside Harald Wohlfahrt had a tremendous impact over her professional life, culminating with her formation as a complete, highest standards Confectioner.
Harald Wohlfart is one of the best-known Chefs in Germany and was awarded with three Michelin stars for 25 times (!) in a row – being the only one in Germany – during his time as head of “Traube – Tonbach”. Furthermore, he was also repeatedly considered as being “the No. 1” among all 3-Star Chefs in Germany.
